The westerly winds through Awaji island in Japan create the ideal temperature to dry incense and for 150 years, the Harima region there has been producing nearly 70% of the country's matches and incense. It only makes sense that eventually someone would produce the Hibi Incense Match Stick: a strike-on-box incense match with fragrances derived from local herbs and made from a secret blend of paper fibres, incense and charcoal. Each stick will burn for about 10 minutes, but the aroma will linger, making it the perfect sensual companion for a bath, a bit of yoga or some peaceful meditation.

30 match sticks and one non-flammable burning mat included in each set.

Strike the head of the stick on the side of the box like a typical match, let it burn for about 5 seconds, then blow it out and rest it on the mat while it releases its scent.
